Mckenna Grace faced a lot of demons as The Young and the Restless character Faith Newman, so the actress ain't afraid of no ghosts. That's why she was the perfect pick for the latest installment of the Ghostbusters franchise.
Jason Reitman is directing the as-yet-untitled follow-up to the original two 1980s movies helmed by his father Ivan. The plotline will follow Carrie Coon in the role of a woman with a connection to the original characters. Grace joins Finn Wolfhard as the woman's kids, who are part of a group of four teens that play heavily in what remains a mostly mysterious premise.
Grace took on the role of Y&R's Faith back in 2013, but she has since gone on to star in major films like Gifted, I, Tonya, Captain Marvel, and the upcoming Annabelle Comes Home.
UPDATE (January 27, 2020): Grace surprised fans with some fun behind-the-scenes shots from the set of her new film, which has been titled Ghostbusters: Afterlife. She will be playing the role of Phoebe in the tale that follows a single mom and her two kids after they arrive in a small town and begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
