Next month at this time, fans of The Young and the Restless will be getting ready to welcome Emmy winner Jess Walton (Jill Atkinson) back to the show.
On its official Twitter feed, The Young and the Restless shared a backstage photo of Walton with costars Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) along with the caption "Happy Friday from Genoa City!"

Soap Central has learned that Walton will breeze back into Genoa City on July 13 -- and yes, that's a Friday. It's not yet known how long Walton will be sticking around.
Walton joined the cast of Y&R in 1987.
