It looks like the heat of summer will continue into the fall on The Young and the Restless, as Miles Gaston Villanueva has been cast to play the new role of Luca Santori.
Described as "strong-willed, confident and charismatic," Luca will be hitting Genoa City this September, Soap Opera Digest reports.
Villanueva may look familiar to Y&R fans, as the actor played Father Martin back in 2013 for a storyline in which Paul (Doug Davidson) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) searched for Nikki's long-lost child. The actor also had a short run on Days of our Lives in 2014 as a character named Russ.
In addition to his soap work, the actor has appeared on Bones, NCIS, Melissa & Joey, and Chasing Life.
