Soap Opera Digest, held by many to be the top soap opera magazine, hands out awards in various categories in the late winter months of each year. Nearly all of the winners are determined by votes sent in by soap opera fans. <p> Currently only the results of the <a href="1998.html">1998 Soap Opera Awards</a> are online.
