General Hospital viewers were over the moon when Kelly Thiebaud reprised her role as Britt Westbourne earlier this year but were simultaneously disappointed that it was for such a short stint. Well, hold onto your hats, because the actress is heading back to Port Charles once more -- and this time around, she's said to be staying put on the canvas for a much longer time period!
Soap Opera Digest reports that Thiebaud will soon be back on viewers' screens for a "longer stint" than the multiple short-term appearances she has made in recent years. There's no information as to what brings her back to the canvas this time around, but most fans don't seem to care too much about the circumstances -- they're just happy to have her back!
Thiebaud, who originally joined GH in 2012 and left as a full-time cast member in 2015, previously stated that her fans are "a huge reason why I always enjoy going back.... Even if it's just for a couple of episodes they always seem to really enjoy seeing that character, and that makes it more fun and exciting for me."
Britt last appeared on the canvas earlier this spring, when Britt took off to Boston. Shortly after the scheming doc left Port Charles, Thiebaud took to social media with the hope that she would soon be back.
"Currently i am not on any shows as a series reg. I'm just bouncing around where the work takes me," she wrote in April. "Thank you for welcoming me again back to Port Charles. Always a fun visit and let's hope there is more to come. Love you all! Stay safe."
In addition to playing GH's Britt, Thiebaud briefly played the role of Days of our Lives' Zoey earlier this year. Some of her other credits include Chuck, Castle, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, TMI Hollywood, and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff Station 19.
