Anthony Montgomery is trading in the cold autumn of Port Charles for some surfs and sunshine in Hawaii. The actor, who currently plays General Hospital's Andre Maddox, has headed to the Paradise of the Pacific to film a guest-starring role on Magnum P.I..
The actor took to Instagram with a post that teased his new job, though he was initially coy about what the project was.
"Can't even tell ya'll how excited I am to be heading to my next gig... in Hawaii! 1st time. And I get time to explore," he wrote.
That post was followed up by several more that gave details about the gig, which he revealed is the role of Roy on Magnum P.I., a CBS remake of the original 1980s series of the same name that followed Tom Selleck as a private investigator in the state of Hawaii.
As seen in Montgomery's photos, he had the pleasure of working with Tim Kang, Perdita Weeks, Jay Hernandez, and Peter Facinelli in the remake that launched in 2018.
At this time, no other details about Montgomery's upcoming Magnum P.I. appearance have been released, so keep checking back to Soap Central for more updates as they become available.
Montgomery joined the cast of General Hospital in 2015. His other credits include Greenleaf, Grey's Anatomy, Single Ladies, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Popular.
