Emmy winner Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) and her husband, John, have quietly separated after two decades of marriage.
"John and I have decided to end our 20 year marriage," Wright said in a statement. "We remain committed and dedicated to our two wonderful children and will always be a supportive, loving family of four -- we are just doing it differently now!"
Laura and John were married in October 1995. Three years later, they welcomed daughter Lauren Elizabeth, and in 2000, they added son John Michael to their family.
The news of the Wrights' split comes nearly two weeks after another General Hospital couple, Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) and Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara), announced that they were divorcing.
