Web soap Winterthorne snags another GH actress

Hot on the heels of the news that Kathleen Gati has joined the new web soap Winterthorne comes news that fellow General Hospital star Kirsten Storms is following suit.

Exciting announcements from the much-anticipated Web series Winterthorne keep rolling out, with the latest news being that General Hospital's Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones; ex-Belle, Days of our Lives) has joined the show.

The actress will be playing Selene, the younger sister of Miranda (portrayed by Martha Madison, who also played DAYS' Belle).

"Selene is stylish, sexy, wicked and witty," describes series creator Michael Caruso. "She's been away from her family for a long time and now she's back to take what she feels is hers. It's going to be so much fun watching Kirsten and Martha on-screen together, a devilish treat for the audience."

Adds series star Madison: "I adore Kirsten both personally and professionally. And I've always wanted the chance to work on a project together with her. I have so much respect for her as an actress. I can hardly wait for her to join us on Winterthorne."

The Web soap begins production for three weeks in late March both in and out of Los Angeles. Previously announced cast members include Madison, Dallas star Linda Gray (ex-Sue Ellen), Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht, GH), Gordon Thomson (ex-Walter, DAYS; ex-Hal Freeman, Passions; ex-A.J. Deschanel, Sunset Beach), and Josh Thrower.
