Jake DiMera is in the grave, but Brandon Barash hasn't left Days of our Lives. As some fans already guessed, he has reprised the role of Jake's identical twin look-alike, Stefan!

Days of our Lives' Dr. Rolf has struck again. The NBC soap's infamous mad scientist has worked his magic once more, this time bringing Stefan DiMera back from the dead.

The resurrection plot twist kicked off with the death of Jake DiMera last week, a move that immediately had quick-thinking viewers predicting that the end of Jake would actually not be the final chapter for portrayer Brandon Barash. The actor began his run on the show as Stefano's son Stefan, and he has indeed reprised his original Salem role.

Speaking with his co-star Dan Feuerriegel (E.J. DiMera) in a clip posted to the Days of our Lives YouTube Channel, Barash teases what fans can expect from the resurrection of Jake's broody twin, Stefan.

"You'll see some revenge, corporate takeovers, losing a memory ... maybe gaining of memories," he shares, adding that half-brothers Stefano and E.J. will be "butting heads for sure."

Of course, what fans really want to know is if Stefan and his true love, Gabi (Camila Banus), will reunite once she finds out that he's alive. Check out the DAYS video via the link above to hear Barash's answer, and let us know what you think in our Comments section below.

Barash took on the role of Stefan in 2019 as a last-minute replacement for Tyler Christopher. Not long after, the powers that be killed the character (which the show's head writer later said was a big mistake) and brought Barash back to the canvas as Jake. Prior to his time in Salem, Barash starred as General Hospital's Johnny Zacchara from 2007 to 2013, and again from 2014 to 2016.

How do you feel about DAYS' decision to bring Stefan DiMera back from the grave? Do you prefer Brandon Barash in the role of Stefan or the role of Jake? Why do you feel that way? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
