Days of our Lives viewers were thrilled to see Shawn and Belle tie the knot just before Christmas, and hopes are high that the newlyweds will settle down in Salem permanently. Will that be the case, or will the powers that be once again whisk the fan-favorite couple off screen?
Rumors are swirling that Shawn and Belle's portrayers, Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison, were recently upped to contract status at the NBC soap opera -- but it seems that might not be entirely true.
In response to the contract rumors, Madison took to Twitter to share that both she and Beemer have been asked to stay at DAYS for a story arc that lasts through early spring, but their status for the rest of 2021 is unclear at this time.
"We were thrilled to be asked to stay through February and hope we will be around after that too," she shared.
