Popular Days of our Lives actress Christie Clark is bringing Carrie Brady back to Salem for a story involving Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley).

Days of our Lives fans will soon be getting a delightful blast from the past: Christie Clark is reprising the role of Carrie Brady.

The actress, who took on the role of Sami's sister in 1986, is rumored to be returning to Salem for a story that has Carrie's mother, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley), desperate for her daughter's help. It was revealed earlier this month that Anna's recent return to Salem will be heavily connected to her first husband, Roman Brady. Might trouble be brewing for the ex-spouses?

No other information about Clarks' return has been released at this time, including when Carrie will pop up in Salem, how long she's expected to be back on the canvas and whether or not the character will be joined by her hubby, Austin (Austin Peck). As fans may recall, the last time Carrie was seen in Salem was back in February of 2017, when she and Austin returned to town to attend Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve's (Stephen Nichols) intimate Valentine's Day wedding.

Though many fans would love to see Clark back at DAYS full-time, the show has a habit of bringing Carrie back for short stints only, which she doesn't seem to mind. As the actress once put it, DAYS "is the gift that keeps on giving for me."
