Executive producer, Felicia Minei Behr, being replaced

Shortly after being removed as executive producer for All My Children, Felicia Minei Behr found a new home at As the World Turns. Just two-and-a-half years into her tenure, Behr is being replaced. As was the case at AMC where Behr was replaced by Francesca James, who'd played Kitty Cole on the show, Behr will be replaced by another AMC veteran.

Christopher Goutman, a respected director who, in addition to his Emmy-winning work on AMC has worked on Another World and ATWT, will take on the position as executive producer beginning June 7th. Behr's final day at the studio is June 4th.

Mary Alice Dwyer-Dobbin, Executive-in-Charge of Production, Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc., which owns and produces ATWT, says "When Felicia joined As the World Turns two and a half years ago, it was in need of an experienced leader, someone with a firm hand and knowledgeable insight, who was capable of revitalizing the show's production and storytelling. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Felicia for the considerable job she has done in steering As the World Turns back on track and leaving it in a stronger position."

More changes could also be in store for ATWT fans as it is rumored that there will also be changes to the writing staff in the next few weeks. Plus, the infusion of characters from the soon-to-be-cancelled Another World should also provide new fodder for the show.
